This is a fun lipstick. The color is a slightly grayish slate blue with a metallic shimmer, hence the name Chalice. This lip color goes on like a liquid lipstick similar to a lip gloss, but then after about 30 minutes, it dries down to more of a velvety matte finish. While it does provide nice coverage, it is not a thick formula. It is buildable for deeper, richer color and more coverage if you wait for it to dry down. If you are a fan of Kylie Jenner’s Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Freedom, this is a nice dupe.
